REAL #amweddings – Blake Ainsworth + Kimberley Mackay – 12th May 2018
I’m going to start this blog with an extract from my script which I write for Kim + Blake.
‘So Kim + Blake are the real 21st century power couple. Kim owns her own business, has a amazing group of friends who she loves and dosen’t really keep tabs on Blake surf time . Blake a successful builder and site manager who adores his soon to be wife more than he loves his fishing. Two ambitious, hard working and talented kids combining forces to build a dream, and persue a life a happiness and love, starting with this incredible wedding they planned together (Blake, you helped too) to tie the knot in front of their besties at a place close to home where they can celebrate their love and party with their crew. Lets do this….
Blake + Kim They met at the north straddy pub, over 9 years ago….. 9 years ago.. what took you so long mate?
I met Kim and Blake for the first time when they came to my house for their wedding meeting. The first thing I felt was how at ease and comfortable they were with each other. This in tern, made me feel very comfortable. Kim and Blake, still in their 20’s have been together for over 9 years and the youth, energy, and straight up glowing love which radiated from Kim + Blake was obvious from the word ‘Hello’.
These two call Tweed Heads home and chose to get married in the sublime www.Maviseskitchen.com.au – You cant beat local food, cooked by local chefs Yes, you can, ifs it accompanied by one of the most scenic backdrops in Australia hosted by a team of wedding gurus who worked with tirelessly to give Kim and Blake what they deserve. Oh yeah, that what happened.
Sound-tracking the day was www.jakeandandy.com.au these guys gave constructed the audio whilst www.wandererandthewild.com shot the stills to capture the emotion and energy of the day. The catering was produced by www.maviseskitchen.com and their crew of 120+ friends and family danced the night away at the base of Mt Warning not even bothered by the 10 degree cold front which tried to cool off some emotion.
The ceremony was raw with emotion as Blake first saw his beautiful wife to be as she emerged from the Mavises cottages. The natural and raw beauty of the Tweed Coast complimented the stunning Bride as she looked gorgeous and radiant as she flowed down the aisle and into the arms of the man she will wake up next to every day. The song ‘Forever’ written by Ben Harper and played by Jake was so poignant as Kim and Blake know that ‘forever’ is what they want but first their “I Do’s’ is what they need to get through.
After the exchanging of the vows and wedding rings, it was time to raise the roof and that’s exactly what they did. From the humble abode on the Tweed Coast to their honeymoon around the Hawaiian islands these two know how to rock and judging from their epic wedding experience there will be no shortage of good times for the Ainsworth clan.
Thanks for the memories Kim + Blake, best wishes always – Andrew.
